Overall | Everleigh's not too tall, nor is she all too short. She's right around average height for her ethnicity, but a bit short for being in Britain. It's not like she minds - she's roughly the same height as her mother, and her dad's not that tall, so she suspects she won't get much taller. Though right now Everleigh is quite thin, not underweight (according to bmi, but Remi also things that's mostly bullshit) but she's thin now. Up until this past summer, however, Everleigh was no. She wasn't fat, regardless of what she would like to say, but yes, she was seriously overweight. After having had enough of the teasing and being ignored and overall feeling worthless, Everleigh decided she was going to lose a lot of weight, and proceeded to do so over the summer; and she lost a good twenty kilograms, most of which she lost by being more active and working out, but the last five or so kg she lost by mostly just not eating. Which, you know, not healthy at all, but she doesn't see that. What she see's is that she's prettier, she's more confident, she's at a healthy weight for her height, etc.

Since losing at that weigh, Everleigh's let her hair grow out significantly, where she always kept it quite short before. She's not dyed it or anything, but her hair is naturally a bit lighter than most Asians (mostly due to her father being half Korean, half English.) Outside of her robes, Everleigh dresses quite nice, because she's a lot more confident in her body and looks now, and isn't afraid to wear something bit tighter and more form fitting. Jeans and a loose fitting t-shirt is her usual outfit outside of robes though.

• Physically, she's not that strong. This is namely due to the large amount of weigh she's recently lost (ie, over the summer.)

• Right now Everleigh's happiest memory would probably be having to go get new robes and clothing before the new school year, due to her old ones not fitting anymore. Pinning her prefect badge onto her new robes on the train back to Hogwarts and having people actually pay attention to her, and having friends tell her she looked really good. (I'm sure it'll change before the end of the year, but right now that's what it is. Because she's so happy that she's thin and pretty now (even though she was always pretty.))

Overall | Everleigh had always been a relatively quiet girl. Her parents are a pureblood and muggleborn, and she's grown up in both the wizarding world and muggle world, though mostly the wizarding world. She's a smart girl, and she's always loved magical theory, and history of magic, and even arithmancy after she started taking it - she's noticed she tends to like the classes and topics most people find boring. Of course, those are just a few of the things she likes, and really, in a lot of ways, Ever's just an average girl. She likes watching quidditch games, but she'd never be able to play, as she can barely fly. She likes being around her friend, doesn't like homework all too much, if only because she'd rather be doing other things. The homework bit really depends on the class, as certain classes, Ever would gladly do the homework right away, because it's something she enjoys. Writing a paper of arithmancy is something she'd start right away, while a paper for potions, not so much.

Like a lot of girls her age, Everleigh's not all that confident. She's self conscious, incredibly so, though is more confident than she was just last year. She'd always been a bit of a bigger girl, and it wasn't something she could just embrace and be done with it. She was picked on for being fat, both at Hogwarts and by kids in her (muggle) neighbourhood during the holidays. It takes a toll on a person, and Everleigh decided she was going to lose weight, no matter what it took. While she mostly exercised more, watched what she ate, and cut out snacks and anything unhealthy, eventually Everleigh just stopped eating as much in general, to the point where her meals now could be confused for a snack. She doesn't realize it's not good for her, because it got her to her goal of losing weight, of being accepted when she came back to school for the semester. People liked her, told her she was pretty for once in her life (her cousin and parents aside, but she's pretty sure they're supposed to say that no matter what.) She's happy (well, happier) with the way she looks now, so of course she can't see that it's not healthy.

Overall | Everleigh is the only child of pureblood Jason Min and muggleborn Jeong Eunah. Both of her parents were Korean (well, Jason half) but  grew up in England, and both attended Hogwarts. Both had graduated a couple of years before the Battle of Hogwarts, and by 1998, had moved to Seoul, South Korea, where their families were originally from. They planned on staying for a few years, but knew in the end they would go back to England if they had any children, wanting their kids to attend Hogwarts, as they had. In the end, they only had one child; a daughter who they named Kaeun, though also gave her the name Everleigh when they moved back to England, which they did when Kaeun was five.

In England, they lived in a muggle neighbourhood, wanting Everleigh to grow up both in the muggle world and the wizarding world. Her childhood was relatively uneventful. There were some bouts of accidental magic, but nothing too major; no houses almost burnt down or anything. It was mostly just things going flying when she was upset, or snacks coming down from a place she couldn't reach. When she was eleven, her Hogwarts letter came, and she couldn't wait for September to start. She would miss her muggle friends, because her mother insisted on her attending a muggle elementary school, but she knew Hogwarts would more than make up for that. September 1st came, and Everleigh was sorted into Hufflepuff.

Her first year was normal, amazing really. She was a bit of a chubby kid, but at eleven, that was pretty normal. Pretty much all of her classmates had babyfat in their cheeks, but as the year went on, and into second year, everyone started to slim out and obviously started to grow up, while Everleigh just... didn't. If anything, she just got bigger. And she got picked on for it; called piggy and fat, made fun of for eating lots when she ate mno more than anyone else. Now, despite what Everleigh would like to say, she's never been "fat." Chubby, yes; somewhat overweight, yes, but not fat. However, at fifteen, she couldn't see that, and decided she was done being the fat kid people picked on. So, near the end of fourth year, Everleigh started eating a bit less, but was eating more healthy. She walked around the castle more, and when the year was over, she  put her all into losing weight over the summer. She wanted to be thin. And she got there. By the time the owl came with her book list, Everleigh was thin and happy. Nothing could have ruined her happiness. In fact, it got even better. She was named prefect, and she was nothing but smiles while getting her new robes. Of course, she's not eating properly now, definitely doesn't eat enough to keep her going, and already has found it a lot more difficult to get from class to class because of the stairs.
